  2. Avoid the use of liquids around your camera as any spill of a liquid on your camera can damage its internals badly. Also shun the use of water or cleaning liquid for cleaning your camera.

  5. Always store the camera in a well-ventilated dry area. In case you don’t plan to use the camera for a month or more, then try storing it in a plastic bag along with a moisture-absorbing desiccant. 
     
  6. Avoid pointing the camera’s lens directly at the sun for extended periods of time. Focused sunlight can readily damage the image sensor inside the camera and can even cause fire inside it.
